PF praised for developing west

BARATOSE Royal Establishment (BRE) induna Ing’anduka has praised the Patriot Front (PF) Government for showing care to the people of Western Province. And Minister of Tourism and Arts Sylvia Masebo has said the PF Government is in hurry to take development to the people of Western Province.  Induna Ing’anduka, whose real names are Mubita Kamutumwa, said the BRE was happy that the PF Government making efforts to eliminate poverty amongst the local people. He was speaking on Monday at Sioma Ngwezi National Park head quarters in Shang’ombo District in Western Province. “It is a great honor for the minister of Tourism and Arts to have traveled to this part of the country that is remote from Lusaka or far,” he said.  Induna Ing’anduka said that the PF Government had proved that it was a Government of the people in view of projects being implemented in the province. chali  Mulenga MINISTER of Tourism and Art Sylvia Masebo says councils play an integral role in implementing central Government policies. She said decentralization will help devolve power and resources to the local authorities and promote an efficient service delivery. Ms Masebo was speaking on Tuesday when she met with the District Development Coordinating Committee in Sesheke, she said Government is determined to reorganize this country and it is a duty of civil service to help implement government policies. “Any new government comes along with change and if you don’t change with it you will be removed for resisting the change,” she said. Ministry of Chiefs and Traditional Affairs Deputy minister Susan Kawandami said that traditional leaders play a critical role in the development of the country.
