CHALI MULENGA, Kazungula COOKING OIL WORTH thousands of kwacha has been destroyed after the driver of a South African registered truck and trailer lost control after a quarrel with his wife in the truck along Kazungula Livingstone Road. Quick action by the police averted a near looting of the cooking oil by the villages. Police had a tough time restraining the villagers from looting. Kazungula district commissioner Pascalina Musokotwane confirmed the incidence as she rushed to the scene of the accident. “The truck belonging to Westmead Hauliers registration number FJH 358 FS swayed which resulted in the trailer registration number FJL 343 FS, which had cantons of cooking oil slide off the truck,” she said.       Ms Musokotwane said the driver of the truck lost control after he swayed and cooking oil boxes begun falling out of the truck.
