media personnel awareded

Livingstone media personnel were on friday awarded for their wok in
the city of Livingstone for their work.
The first ever media awards for journalists in Livingstone where
hosted by Shinaika Magazine at Courtyard hotel.
 Livingstone museum director Vincent Katenekwa said most of the great
things start on a humble note and that it is something that can grow.
 He urged the journalists most of whom he said were quite youthful and
could contribute to national development.
“Let it grow the zeal for the media interest to write as it is only
that the journalists can progress in the writing industry,” he said.
  Provincial art advisory chairperson Ziwa Malilo Ziwa said the media
should accommodate critics and urged the media to be innovative and
work extra hard.
 He pledged the support of that national arts council towards the
support to the media.
 Shinaika Magazine executive Director said the media does a lot work
that is not noticed by any one and that is the reason why her company
to came up with the wards for media personnel.
 She hoped that other people could come on board and support the media
awards next and called the journalists to work hard.
