Vote for PF candidate-Kabimba

THE Patriotic Front (PF) Secretary General, Wynter Kabimba has urged the people in Livingstone to vote a PF candidate as voting for some in the opposition is not beneficial.

Addressing PF cadres in Shungu ward in Livingstone on Thursday, hesaid the people in Livingstone have lagged behind in development because they always voted for the opposition.

He reminded the people that they were always in the opposition.
Mr Kabimba said the PF does not want corruption as it does not contribute to development.

He said the people in Livingstone voted for Sakwiba Sikota as Member of Parliament but he never delivered development to the people.

He said instead he ended up enriching himself by buying vehicles whilst leaving the people in poverty.
Mr Kabimba said the people should change the way they vote by voting for the ruling party.
“PF president Michael Sata has sent me to see how the people are suffering,” he said.

He urged people to vote for the PF and their suffering will end as the government will put in place a bridge and a clinic for the people.
Mr Kabimba said that if the people miss this chance of being represented by a person from the ruling the next one will come in 2016.

“I will tell the president that the people of this ward have promised to vote for the PF and that the party will bring development,” he said.

Southern Province Patriotic Front (PF) chairperson Josephs Akafumba welcomed the defectors and urged them to work hard for the party.

He urged them to ensure that the party grows in the district.

The PF Secretary General is Livingstone on familisation tour of Livingstone constituency.

police impound scrap metal truck

Th e police in Livingstone have impounded a truck that was carrying scrap metal. Southern Province police commissioner Charity Katanga confirmed the development in Livingstone in an interview. She said that truck and trailer registration number AJC 5538 that was loaded with scrap metal property of the Livingstone City Council. Ms Katanga said the matter was reported to the police by Livingstone mayor Aggrey Njekwa who reported that the scrap metal was sold without the knowledge and authority of the council. She said the police are still investigating the matter.   And police in Mazabuka has arrested Former MMD presidential aspirant Nason Musoni, 54 for threatening residents with a revolver in the district.
