PF braggs of south growth

PATROTIC front (PF) Secretary General Wynter Kabimba has observed the party was growing at a fast pace in the southern province.
He said that his political experience had taught that him that what he had seen in Livingstone as at no doubt the party would scoop the upcoming elections.
Speaking during a media briefing in Livingstone at Courtyard hotel, he said that the tours had proved to him that the party is strong in the province and that from his own judgment the party would scoop the Livingstone seat.
“The PF does not buy off the people but it would continue to persuade the evangelization of the party must continue,” Mr Kabimba said.
“A lot of people want to join the party but they don’t know where to go,” he said.
He said it shows that some levels of the party is invisible leadership of the party must be visible.
Mr Kabimba said the people must hear you preaching about the party every day. The party members are duty bound.
He urged the party at the district and province levels to continue it is only through the interactions with the business community that the party would be able to make amends.
“Theses interactions with the business community in Livingstone are valuable, you must undertake these interactions as it is only through that way you can win their confidence,” Mr Kabimba said.
“The Livingstone city has a special status and must be left to be exclusive for tourism and that it will be the hub of the country’s tourism,” he said.
He said the southern province would have two cities being developed at the same time.
He urged the party members not to be distracted by the armchair critics and that PF needs more support and stressed on the need to give maximum support to the president Michael Sata.
Mr Kabimba said that president Sata has spent 30 to 40 years of his life and that the creations of the districts like Chirundu and Pemba.
He said the decentralisation is not an afterthought and wondered why the previous governments ended up consulting countries on decentralisation that do not have the same structures.
He said the party is against throwing street vendors away from the streets to make them starve.
He said the Sundanse scholarship would only be given to PF members that laboured for the party.
“There is nothing political about the PF manifesto and urged the people that are complaining about the PF manifestos to pave way for other that would want implement,” he said.
